10 a.m.Arrive in the area and proceed to the Danbury Museum and Historical Society where you can tour the Marian Anderson Studio, a site on the Connecticut Freedom Trail, the Charles Ives house, the Dodd Hat Shoppe and the historic Rider House.

11 a.m. Depart the Danbury Museum.

11:30 a.m. Arrive at the Spinning Wheel Inn of Redding after a beautiful ride for a fine luncheon theater performance. Lunch is served between acts of the play.This Inn dates back to the Revolutionary period. Beautiful ride down Route 58 in quintessential New England.The performance changes seasonally.

2 p.m. Head to Bethel.

2:20 p.m. Let your group off in the center of this small town in PT Barnum Square.They can wander into the quaint shops featuring antiques, gifts and even teddy bears. Have an ice cream at the famous Dr. Mike's Ice Cream Shop or stop by the Hauser Chocolate House to purchase another real treat.

3:20 p.m. Back on the bus and head for home, your Northwest Connecticut area hotel or your next destination having enjoyed a sample of the area's history.
